SeaNRG B.V. trading as GoodFuels is a supplier and market developer of advanced biofuels for the transport sector, with a focus on heavy road-based applications (trucking, construction machinery, public transport) and water-borne applications (dredging, maritime transport, ferries, cruise sector). Since GoodFuels was founded, the company has created a one-stop shop for industry customers by integrating the entire supply chain for sustainable biofuels. From feedstock to tank, GoodFuels proposition covers elements of sourcing feedstock and ensuring its 100% sustainability, the blending of the final product, the global distribution, quality assurance and marketing programs. To ensure the product(s) maintain of the highest quality and meet the latest sustainability standards GoodFuels has installed an independent sustainability board, consisting of academia and NGO’s, that provide continuous advice and guidance towards the sustainability of the products. Next to sales and marketing of advanced biofuels, GoodFuels is also active in development of the next generation biofuels, focusing on lignocellulosic feedstock and thermochemical conversion technologies. In cooperation with technology developers, GoodFuels acts as the commercialization partner.

Role in BioSFerA

Within this project, GoodFuels will be mainly involved in:

  • assessment market potential European biofuel to be developed;
  • techno economic assessment;
  • fuel characterization.

GoodFuels has built up deep knowledge base, strong client portfolio and unique sustainability profile as a market/project developer for advanced sustainable biofuels. With offices in Amsterdam and Rotterdam GoodFuels is specialized in finding the highest value markets and create profitable business cases for its B2B clients to start implementing 100% Bio HFO or high-blends (>20% renewable content) of renewable fuel products in their operation. GoodFuels enables companies to cost-effectively decarbonize their transportation, whilst gaining advantages over their competitor.
